FAQ

Is Urtica a distributor?

Distribution is the cornerstone of our business, but the scope of our cooperation may also include other agreed processes relating, amongst other things, to the market, procedures, sales, warehousing, logistics and reporting.

Who is Urtica’s target customer base?

We supply, amongst others, hospitals and hospital pharmacies, other healthcare providers, high-street pharmacies, wholesalers and other authorised professional customers. The scope depends on the product and the method of sale.

Do you stock generic, original and innovative medicines?

We handle generic products as well as original and innovative ones. We determine the possibilities and scope of our collaboration on a product-by-product or portfolio basis.

Does Urtica also work with smaller producers?

The size of a company does not determine the model of cooperation. We identify the requirements for the product or portfolio, and then the scope of the processes to be covered by Urtica.

Do you monitor tender procedures, prices and the competition?

We can monitor procurement processes and analyse available data relating to, amongst other things, tender prices, results, competition and the method of purchasing the product. We determine the scope and frequency on a case-by-case basis for each specific collaboration.

Can Urtica store goods that remain the property of the manufacturer?

We can also provide warehousing and logistics services under a model where the goods remain the property of the manufacturer. We agree on the rules regarding stock, liability and reporting as part of our collaboration.

How do I get started as a new client?

Please select a path for a new customer and specify the type of organisation and the matter to which the enquiry relates. Based on this information, we will direct the enquiry to the relevant department.

Where can an existing customer place an order or sort out a matter?

Existing customers can use our Contact Centre, e-Urtica and other service channels for orders, complaints, documents, destination import and other day-to-day matters.
