Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Policy of Urtica Sp. z o.o. Terms used in it, including the “Controller”, have the meanings given to them in the Privacy Policy.
The Controller uses cookies – computer data stored by web servers on your computer, smartphone or tablet, which can then be read by web servers each time a connection is made with your computer, smartphone or tablet. Cookies usually contain the name of the website, their lifetime and a number used to identify the browser from which the website is accessed.
Our website uses two main types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on your end device until you log out, leave the website or close the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on your end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until you delete them.
Cookies stored on your end device (computer, smartphone or tablet) are used by the Controller, among other things, for the following purposes:
- analytical purposes, i.e. tracking your internet traffic (why and how – see the “Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel” section);
- profiling the advertisements displayed to you for groups of users with similar characteristics (e.g. age, approximate location, browsing history).
You can change your cookie settings at any time using your web browser options, in particular by blocking the use of cookies or deleting them. Detailed information on how cookies can be managed is available in the settings of the web browser you use. Allowing cookies means that cookies will be placed on your end device (computer, smartphone or tablet) and the Controller will be able to access them.
If you do not agree to the Controller’s use of cookies, please do not give your consent, change your browser settings accordingly or stop using the urtica.pl website.
Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel
The Controller also informs you that it uses the Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel functionalities.
These tools make it possible to measure and optimise the Controller’s advertising campaigns and to create audiences for them. The purpose of using these functionalities is to improve the Controller’s online marketing and, as a result, to generate greater sales of its services, which constitutes the Controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Google Analytics libraries use cookies to “remember” the actions a user took on previously visited websites and during previous interactions with the urtica.pl website.
Facebook Pixel allows the Controller to analyse what actions are taken by visitors to the urtica.pl website who are also registered and logged in to Facebook, and which devices they use.
Given the functionality of Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, information about users visiting the urtica.pl website collected through these tools may be shared with the Controller’s partners, in particular Google and Facebook, for the purpose of running effective advertising campaigns of the Controller targeted at specific audiences.
If you do not wish to be “tracked” by Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel while using the urtica.pl website, please do not consent to the use of cookies, change your browser settings accordingly or stop using the website.
For more information on how Google uses data collected when you use the urtica.pl website, please visit: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
If you have any questions about the collection of data on website visitors for statistical purposes, please contact the Controller.
