Can Urtica handle a product that is not included in the groups listed on the website?

The groups listed on this page do not constitute an exhaustive list. We assess whether we can handle a product from outside the specified areas on the basis of its logistical, quality and formal requirements, as well as the planned distribution model.

Can preparations for the product’s launch begin before it is distributed on a regular basis in Poland?

We can draw up a service model before the product’s regular distribution begins. At this stage, we define, amongst other things, the requirements regarding stock levels, warehousing, the distribution channel, order fulfilment procedures, target customers and the processes that need to be prepared before sales commence.

Can Urtica handle products that require special storage or transport conditions?

We handle products that require controlled temperature conditions and additional quality control. We determine the requirements for a specific product on the basis of its documentation and the conditions that must be maintained during storage and transport.

Can Urtica distribute the product to selected target groups or centres?

We can tailor the distribution model to the appropriate channel for the product and a specific group of eligible recipients, including selected facilities or specialist centres. We determine the delivery method in accordance with the product’s requirements and the agreed cooperation model.

Can Urtica handle orphan medicines and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs)?

Our services can cover orphan medicines and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). For each specific product, we assess its requirements regarding storage, transport, quality control, distribution and the appropriate access model.

Can Urtica be involved in the handling of products imported under the destination or intervention import schemes?

Urtica’s scope of activities includes handling products imported under the final import and intervention schemes. Urtica’s role in a specific case depends on the relevant procedure, the status of the product, the required documentation and the agreed division of responsibilities amongst the parties involved in the process.

What information is required to assess the feasibility of handling a new or specialist product?

For an initial assessment, we require information about the product, its quality and logistical requirements, storage and transport conditions, the planned distribution model, the target customers and the expected scope of cooperation. In the case of specialist products, we determine the scope of additional documentation based on the specific characteristics of the product.
